Who is the Euro T1 you ask?  Strong evidence suggests ADVA.  Take a look at this POET chip from the company's "genius" video (4'31").  What do you see in the top right portion of the chip?  Based on the video, it is thought this is a lightbar chip, but not confirmed.  Regardless, the name is unmistakable.

Who are they working with in North America?  Not sure about the infamous T1, but some sleuthing suggests they have undertaken some development work with Macom.  Also from the "genius" video (10'58"), with some deblurring efforts and interpretation, name on the customer's PCB looks vaguely familiar.
