Yes, Shash you are absolutely right. That's why I hinted on it being "off tropic" right away. Investment in general and investment into POET in particular is a dead serious matter. So much so that humor or anything else that may lighten up people in troubled times is to be regarded as defamatory or childish at least.

The great Frank Zappa once brought up the question "does humor belong in music?". Thumps generally went down just like here. People from Punjab may sell their shares feeling offended by Ohiotom being deprived of their proud ethnical status etc...

In all seriousness: what worries me more than anything regarding language, humor and political correctness is the attitude to tolerate swearing against the POET-mgmt, going ad hominem against Tom Mika, plus the attitude of being deprived of a life because of either overinvestment or lack of patience. A money decision that bans humor is a bad decision. Period. I had my fair share of losses on the stock exchange along with gains to celebrate my "overwhelming intelligence". After long years in this game I came to the conclusion that it can only played as long as you can afford a certain amount of humor to come along with it.

I am no native english speaker, yet I don't take this as an excuse. Keeping my fellow POET-shareholders in reasonable spirit I may be accused of, just like Ohiotom. Yeah, we might not have raised the SP, but we might have lifted the spirit in this madhouse. Actually it would interest me what the POET Mgmt. position is about this.

My slogan in my time as an active consultant had always been: "if you want to do serious business have fun in what you're doing".  If this is wrong, I'm definitevely off topic.

Cheers

Germiston
