It is interesting to me that in general the people here acknowledge the technical advantages of the POET platform. The flexibility it offers to simplify multiple applications based on access to what Dr Mo described as an optical carrier at the surface as opposed to the deeply etched buried waveguides used in conventional silicon photonics. When we combine this architecture with the athermal characteristics of the arrayed waveguides which perform both low loss connectivity and wavelength filtering we find a packaging solution that industry finds amazing. And just think about that. A customer in the business who is responsible for evaluating the capability of the optical engine derived from the POET Optical Interposer Platform has identified POET’s solution as amazing. How often does that happen? An industry specialist assessing  the suitability of a technologies has no doubt seen many interations of development but this one they feel warrants the comment which sums up the POET platform as amazing. 

It is difficult to watch how shares are being taken up by new investors at a fraction of the price that this invention deserves. It is unfortunate that some are falling victim to this transfer of shares. I think JohnSamuel  does a good job of summarizing what is taking place. There was no financing performed at a discount to market and no low cost warrants that are so often demanded by funds seeking to gain a position. As Slab pointed out on Tuesday If you look at the L2, you will notice a wall of roughly 27,000 shares at $8.28. That $225k wall was there to scare the many retail shareholders who have a real need to sell or feel the need to sell. That wall never moved. It did not have to. Mission accomplished. 

Now for those of us who feel confident that the POET platform is this once in a lifetime opportunity to be invested in a breakthrough technology that can grow exponentially I say “live in the now”. Don’t worry about the things you have no control over. 

My confidence is derived from the many, many hours I have spent looking into what this company is doing. In talking to the people doing this face to face. 

So when I see people coming on this forum attempting to trash this company's efforts in their myopic sound bites well it is extremely frustrating for me as it is form many of us. But I have to step away and know that I am extremely confident in the abilities of the people running POET and what they are trying to achieve and what it is that they have achieved. 

In my honest opinion everyone will eventually be using POET where they need to improve their products without having to wait for the long and winding expensive path that conventional silicon photonics requires. 

POET will offer a level of reliability achieved by time test off the shelf mix and match of devices to meet everyone's specific need.
