But if you are that customer, and you've committed to catering your product design around the POET OI platform, why would you want the world to know the differentiating factor of your product? All you care about is that your product becomes adopted, consumed, produced on a mass scale. And especially as an early adopter, if you say... "well our speed, performance, future scalability and reduction in power cost is down to the brilliant POET Technologies Optical Interposer"...then isn't there the potential, that competitors would have to at least consider the platform themselves, which would then nullify the very thing that distinguishes you from the rest?
I know it's frustrating from a POET shareholder perspective because there's this veil of secrecy, but you have to think about it from the customers perspective in a highly competitive and continuously evolving industry.
