I will add that when we had our sit down with Suresh we asked about some of his history in regards to optical integration. I am not at liberty to say when and where  his quest to find a solution to the problem began, but he has been searching for a technology that could be a scalable microfabrication solution for a very, very long time.  

Trust me on this one...He knows the value of POET and he is in no way going to allow it to be given away. What an insult that would be for all of them.
