Sarcasm as an artform... interesting. I have found that individuals, with an inclination towards art theory, are familiar with Roland Barthes' proclamation of the "Death of the Author". That is, the intention of the author always takes second place to the perception of the audience. As part of the discourse in art theory, it is understood that sarcasm without an ironic signifier, leaves the artist in a precarious position regarding the efficacy of his or her communication.
Isn't this fun? Okiedo, I have always enjoyed your posts.
