Clearly the forum wants someone or something to blame. Seems to be a general trend these days wherever you look.

I really want more than anything to understand this phenomenon we have before us:  

A NASDAQ-listed company on the verge of major significance in an industry sector (photonics) which has already captured the attention of the investing public and the technology thought leaders; a company already being mentioned in the same breath as other industry leaders that are giants by comparison, many 1000s x POET's size; top-flite management with serious industry credentials; patents out the wazoo and still being filed and granted in a fairly steady stream; well-known and regarded advisors and BOD members; a very clear business plan being executed ahead of schedule in an environment that has been difficult for two years, and which has gotten nothing but a collective yawn from the stock market...

I wonder if some years from now if there truly was someone or some group of someones who really will have known the reason for this disconnect, if that someone will explain what was actually going on, as, say, Michael Lewis would if it were one of his well-written exposés.
