IMO, POET is congenitally hobbled by how it came to be the particular publicly traded instrument that it is now. If it had had the luxury of beginning as a private entity (with this business plan), and had gone through the usual methodologies of raising capital while still private and either had merged into an old shell (like Rockley) or had gone public in the usual way, we'd have a very different view upon us from the market. The legacy shareholders from the days of a different business plan would not have been lingering around while the Company figured out a new technology or market to approach.
