A partnership with a Chinese company at this point in time does not present good optics  considering the increased tensions with that part of the world...Taiwan...buildup of their navy  and military posturing...partnerships with Russia buying their oil and refusing to criticize them for invading Ukraine...and their reputation of stealing intellectual property are not positives in my mind and with respect to new investors.  They have not handled covid well and continue to aggravate supply chain issues through their mishandling of this alone.  The world is slowly drifting apart from both China and Russia and such associations are not a good place to be IMO.
