Shash, I have a different interpretation from you.
The NA T1 gave POET the specs, and Suresh said that when they meet those specs for 400G, POET will re-engage with this T1.
The 400G FR4 engines were initially developed for them. The receive engine will go into production end of Q3 this year. The transmit engine is being worked on to get it to Beta aka sampling ready.
For the NA T1, POET is aiming to become a qualified supplier by supplying samples that they can test. Once the sampling passes and POET meets the requirement, it simply becomes a qualified supplier and can accept POs. No design wins will be needed for this customer.
