Important to remember: Mr. Schafer is one of the most respected semiconductor analysts. He is the top of the top, and so he will not want to waste his time on a nobody smallcap.

This means the POET team would have to:

• Tell him how POET intends to make lots of money in the photonic space
• Tell him why POET is an important piece of the photonics industry (cannot get to higher speeds without the OI, cannot mass produce optoelectronics without the OI, why Lidars and wearables will need the OI, etc)
• Tell him that the OI's technological achievements exist to create and enhance shareholder values, alongside changing the world for the better.

Suresh and co. must understand that at this fireside chat, they are talking to non-technical, return-seeking audience. They must be able to convey that POET is the best of breed when it comes to investing in the $500B photonics industry, now that the company is mere weeks from commercial validations in the form of production.
