Today’s headline on CNBC, “Nasdaq falls for third straight day as chip stocks weigh on market.”
Every stock on my watchlist is in the red.
The question you have to ask yourself is this. Will the share price be higher or lower in a year from now?
Some of us have been asking ourselves that question (and getting the wrong answer) for many years, and we’re still here, believing it will be higher next year.
I recently bought a few shares for the first time since before the split. It felt good. I will be buying a few more at these prices. We’re in the valley of the shadow. It’s the dark before dawn where resolve is tested. It’s part of the price we “share” for being an investor.
You have to believe that the people in the front office are working their keisters off to succeed. If not, cut your losses and leave. It can’t be a cakewalk for them either.
I wish I had more to offer this forum. My backseat steering wheel is broken.
