They would have to pay a massive premium to make a takeover acceptable to the management and shareholders of Poet.

The company taking over Poet would face massive criticism from its shareholders for paying so much for a company that was the day before valued at a fraction of the offer price.

Would be a record premium never seen before in the history of the world.

I suppose they would have to find some way to increase Poet's share price to save embarrassment and make the takeover look normal.....L.O.L.
