I understand your question but have no good answer. Maybe the photos in this short video are just expamples and not directly related to what Vivek says.

There is this desk with Dr. Mo and the sign "Lightbar" on the desk. And there is the photo of the black OE that does not fit exactly to any of the devices on page 15 at the slides sugarmaple shared a link (POET´s Go-To-Market Plan) of. I am not a Techie but I would say it matches most with some kind of TXRX Transceiver. 

I would not read too much into it. Maybe the complete Video will give complete answers, maybe POET does not want to tell everything to everyone.
