All part of the plan. POET's ability to integrate the best components for their optical engines becomes very attractive for both suppliers and customers. It eliminates weak links. 

POET has designed the optical interposer platform with a level of flexibility that allows customers to mix and match from a growing device library to meet their needs. It also provides POET with a level of redundancy in the supply chain that becomes increasingly important in today's world.

We complain about the amount of time this is taking but POET is building for the future with a systematic approach to all aspects of building a successful multinational company. This only becomes possible by having seasoned industry veterans at the helm who have the experience and the connections to make this happen. 

The goal of any successful company (ie automotive industry) is to eliminate the potential for single source or common cause failure. This is very important to the big customers (and customers who are about to become very big like Celestial AI) that POET is working with.
