Poet Technologies Inc. shares were up 24% at $4.06 after it said it released to production four optical engines, which advances its commercialization goals.
The opto-electronic solutions developer said it reached its production release milestones while working with Super Photonics, the joint venture company it had formed with Sanan IC. The next step in the commercialization process is for Poet's customers to qualify the products internally for the clients, the company said.
Poet said it expects to release more products to production in the first half of the year.
Shares are down 43% over the last 12 months.
