I have not read your OT massive missive yet, FJ. Don't know if GameStop is mentioned. But I'll go ahead (btw there is a cable series out on GameStop currently).

Heres why I would welcome it:

First, it will give Agoracomer longs a chance to recoup their original investment and add in a decent rate of return for the years invested and speculate with house money. That's s huge advantage   

Second, it will give Poet a golden opportunity to raise real money with a fraction of the dilution otherwise available.  

Third, the reason I don't worry that much about such a phenomenon, is that, to me, GameStop was always a bit of a house of cards. Poet appears to me to be solid. Commercial viabilitynot totally proven yet, but totally solid.
