POET tested the products in its labs in multiple locations to make sure they could withstand heat and stress extremes that would be greater than any challenge they would face in another company’s lab or in a real-world environment.

Some time ago I had heard that POET was going through very aggressive stress testing beyond the norm. This in effect accelerates the device aging to provide good qualification data.

Try that with a polymer based system… You know the discussion around what LWLG is doing and what POET is doing is miles apart.

POET is not a one trick pony or “one trick cat…lol”. It is a  multi-faceted platform that can be applied across numerous applications in ways that no other  technology that is available today can achieve.

The best material set for any given device is flip chipped into the POET fabric which can simultaneously provide both receive and send circuits in the same surface area at different levels within the optical interposer stack.

It truly is unique. And it is done at the lowest costs and in high volume using processes that were developed by the semiconductor industry for high end smartphones where low power and  high efficiency are a must.

Enjoy the day!
