Since someone asked via DM: No, I don’t think that what POET presents at OFC is the final solution yet. An Infinity transmit side (TX) here and a receive optical engine (RX) there is a great setup for demonstration purposes that will certainly open people’s eyes (and imaginations), but in the final TX/RX solution, everything will be combined on a single chip, I believe.

BTW, I think it’s about time for a Products category on the POET website …
