Ok,

So yes the POET's lab demo sounded noisy but is it the case for a demo from Arista, the largerst networking equipment vendor ???

The answer is YES, it is noisy and exactly like in the POET's videos.

Listen to OFC 2023 plenary video session, especially to the the CEO of Arista from around the 38 minutes mark and than their lab demo at 1:01.29 mark about their linear drive demo (removing the DSP).

Arista is also looking at TFLN as a mean to reduce the power.

I definitely wish that POET'S land something with Arista at some point in time, this would be one of the game-changer news to me. Off course, i'm not talkink about just a collaboration agreement.

Arista like any other networking equipment vendors needs a way to improve the optics power budget and with a solution that can scale.
