I think the problem is that POET has too often played the game of mystery that is teased out and shreholders have bought the mystery to find that reality doesn't match the tease. In short - the teases no longer work because the boy watching the sheep has called wolf too many times.

There is nothing wrong with clear and direct communication.  It could help end all the games that are played with the stock. If the desire is to dress up the fact that this is samples that are shipping, one way to do that is to talk about how many new engagments there are in the sampling.

Obfuscation is no longer your friend.
