You surely don't think gobbing off on agoracom is a way of demanding substance from management? They aren't listening to you and so your rhetoric is for the birds! The only people that'll be keeping them honest are the customers and partners that they're working with.
The truth is that contracts have been signed and they'll yield sales in the years to come. If you think they are still sending out the same "letters" for the last 15 yrs then you're clearly not listening properly.
Suresh said it himself. They have to prove to the current incumbents that their technology is better and worth investing in, no matter how good it is. This takes time and many small steps. The notion that all the big players will just drop their current plans to incorporate the OI is misguided.
