Considering CAI's founder and CEO left POET to start the company I'd say yes, he actually brought his homework with him.

I think there is zero chance POET doesn't have multiple customers in the wings waiting for their products to be produced. As we saw with the lightbar, almost everyone of these things, for each customer, will be custom made, which takes time and money. After the first couple make it out the door the money will be easy because customers will provide it to get their hands on the goods faster.

Those of us who have been around long enough know about the production cycle and how long it takes to get these compnents to market...we might be slightly ahead of sked, but running close to average....
