But let me back up your idea: assuming Suresh is the technical wizard with no clue on how to market his technology he might find from Agoracom that it's hopeless to take POET any further. Without knowing how to draw up die-hard revenue- and profit charts on mere samples he might just give in. The largely inflated team he is supposed to build while still in development might frustrate him to the extend to throw the towel. After all, he'll never have to worry finacially if a buyout happens.

Yes, PR is a desaster and yes, at least the website must be kept up to date.

What puzzles me is how this armada of (partly self-declared?) MBA-wizards plan to throw around big money for a forecast based on just a thump in the air. From my experience as a (Sr.) Pproduct Mgr in a US-based NYSE-listed company I can only tell you I would have had a couple of strong words (which I used to be infamous for) for any BOD-Clown asking me to do so.
