PoetGermany, my friend, I worked in Europe with Germans for a time, so I understand  that you can come across as brash and negative to us Americans who begin every criticism with positive affirmation.  (btw- that opening comment was my thinly veiled positive affirmation.  'I understand you, I feel your frustration, you have important points to make")

But, Dude, PromotingPoet was just trying to offer an idea of how we might help.  Because, after all, we have some serious vested interest in the success of the company.  He may have lost a fraction of credibility by introducing the concept as his "wife's idea", but, nevertheless, he was simply trying to offer that perhaps we can help.  The idea is the same idea recommended by posters months ago.  The focus by those was that we should be vocal on Reddit and other platforms.  I've taken some comments made here or on Reddit, or positive press on POET, and shared this on my LinkedIn profile.  I suggest that we all do this type of thing because you NEVER know who might read your posts.

My, more subdued, criticism of the suggestion is that I don't believe providing content to our management so that they can give it to the low-cost promotion orgs they hired would be effective.  To your point, POETGermany, this is an amateurish, low budget approach that wont move the needle.  However, there are professionals (younger than I am) who understand new media platforms and how to leverage social media to promote ideas.  If there is anyone in this forum who has connections to people with these skills, I do think that this could help promote our perspective on POET and create an impactful awareness campaign.
