I would think a straight sale of 50k shares (sentiment-wise) would make no difference to the share price...someone hated the stock and sold, ...and someone loved the stock and bought it.......

However, if it was an ATM sale then it can only be 2 positives....

1.  The buyer showed great confidence that the share price will rise and put his money ($300,000) where his mouth is. and positive #2

2. The company raised $300k with hardly any strings attached except for minor dilution.

A great way for the company to raise capital methinks and confidence in the stock at the same time. Just a thought?
