The MUX and DEMUX are monolithic. These engines are tiny which means lots of space to expand. And signal integrity across 10km is excellent. For anyone in that field it becomes very apparent the advantages... The value proposition is beyond what industry has achieved and this is coming out of a small company. 

POET's advanced optical engines will be using much more advanced lasers that are built outside of China. The China stuff was always intended to capture the market's attention and prove the platform. I think it is achieving that goal not as fast as we would like but it is happening.
