The goal was to stop the share price decline and it seems to be working. Clearly there has to be something in the works but if they waited until news could be released where would the share price decline end? Yesterday I saw no big BS offers driving the share price down and both the US and CAD slide has hopefully been ended by the Friday NR. That was the goal for now. Clearly there will be more to follow when they can announce. I don't think it will be a long wait so once again we need to have patience to learn where the money is coming from.
