No buy, sell or hold here, just an observation. 

The US side of this is done. It doesn't explain why it appears they haven't aggressively attempted to fill the Canadian side, as has been related here, no one has come forward to say they were invited to participate. Why not?

Two plausible explanations, 1) They threw in the towel (which would make Maxim appears almost to be in collusion) or 2) It's already filled.

if it's filled, why not announced yet? Maybe had to close the US first. Maybe it's a selling a piece or all of POET to a suitor/partner/customer/JV? And if so, why not before now? 

Of course, it will be a third explanation because I've never been right. 

Still waiting for that to drop, but not standing under it to see if it's a shoe or the anvil. Just saying it's not over until it's over. But we need to hear what's happening with that offering now.
