I am hoping and praying that management does whatever is needed to keep us going. We are so very close. Breeze's message said something like "9cents...and they think they did a great job." Since this was a private message to some group, it may just be his bitterness talking- we are all feeling rather terrible right now.
I just wanted to say I disagreed with that thought and I don't believe management views this as a great job. What about Suresh's last communication would suggest such a thing? I could most certainly feel the stress and concern in things said and not said. Nor should we blame them for talking optimistically when that is precisely what they were pleaded with to do by so many here. Why would they think the tech would be so discounted by the stock market? Be honest, if the stock price was much higher, reflecting the value of this tech, we would all be glad they had promoted it in such optimistic terms. If they had been pessimistic- whew! Investors would have been so angry. It's catch twenty two, and I doubt they ever expected todays stock price, anymore tha us, and I also think they, too, thought we'd be further along on the business side, too. Ever heard the expression 'things take twice as little time and cost half as much as you plan?' Me neither.
No news at all, no understanding as to 'why' is precisely why a stock price starts to drop like a rock after it first moves down, and no news is forthcoming as to the reason. No news is worse than bad news, which at least can be priced in. Assuming the worst is human nature and can become very contagious. We had also the fear of no financing to take care of our insufficient funds.
I am hoping, praying, trusting that Suresh and team will find the funding that removes the fear of being at the edge of the cliff. Remove that fear, and I am quite confident the tech's promise backed by its patents will be repriced at a much much higher level than today.
Please, can we be kind in how we communicate? Our goals can be the same, but methods matter, and sometimes methods can make cooperation impossible. In many cultures, people understand that saving face is important. I don't think the public humiliation of people results in anything good, and certainly creates a new quandary - because now some of us feel caught between a rock and a hard place, wanting the same goals but wanting no part of the 'how'.
I liked the idea of selling directly to retail, if that is something possible. They more than anyone want to see this company succeed.
