From your post, it looks like management tried hard to secure significant money in past years to accelerate Poet's path to revenues.

With what Suresh and the team have been able to invent and bring to commercialization, how do these technological innovations haven't been able attract more institionnal investors in a tech frenzy? 

I think we know the answer, and Poet's CEO will have to act after january 15th.
