What I hear today is explanations and apologies from POET and some posters regarding the past missteps by the company. And then we hear some of the same sources that the future is/might be bright. Rehashing history does nothing for the current position the shareholders are in. Management has used investors money for years, providing them with salaries and a career. What is needed from management/BOD is positive comments, not excuses. Voluntarily slashing their salaries at the current share price would be positive. Putting their personal capital back into the company would be positive. Communicating honestly on a more frequent basis would be positive. POET's infrequent past public comments have proven meaningless, and it is therefore difficult to believe much moving forward.
I will say again, I voted no on all of the motions at the last AGM, except the change of the accounting/auditing firm, and would do so again if the BOD doesn't hold management's feet to the fire. Sad, very sad....... it is very hard to believe that this is going to end well for the shareholders.
