That could be it, good possibility. POET may be selective by pricing its samples so that the more serious companies get them, not just anybody. So yah, some pass, others have the interest and the pocketbook to get the samples. 

I think the tech is fine, that the capital market is tough, and the personnel responsible for getting investment money in the door are not on point. The stock price has gotten many of us spooked and second-guessing things that we have no real evidence for.
