A bit surprised that everybody seems so happy at the volume of stock that insiders purchased in this stock offering. Personally I thought, to give a ringing endorsement and loud vote of confidence to the company and its future, it would have been quite a bit higher.
There were 5.098 million units. Directors/ Management/Insiders took 358 K units or about 7%.
According to the website there are 7 Directors +9 Management, and probably others regarded as Insiders. If there were just 16, some of whom have not yet purchased any shares, but only received options at much higher prices, imho it is surprising greater volumes were not bought.
A statement was made that only "certain " individuals from these 2 groups participated.Am aware that some were involved in the Debenture offerings which gave them stock @ CAD$4.00 (which currently seems a distant memory) and who perhaps did not exercise their warrants @ $5.00 last year, as it was lower than this price most of the time. This would have been the ideal chance to average down as many others decided to do.
Interested to see 2 other companies involved in raising funds. I thought all would be done through the Toronto office of the company. Glores normally deals primarily with natural resource/mining companies. Wonder how this connection took place .
