"Maybe when the 400G tx is proven out and announced (and hence the "clear path to 1.6T and beyond" you mention is assured) POET becomes a bigger target. So far companies seem happy to contribute (MACOM, Lumentum, Broadcom...) or partner (SANAN, ADTRAN, Luxshare, ZKTel...) with POET."

I enjoyed your response Ittr, and I really hope 400g transmit turns Poet into a large target but going back to Outtahere's point, why hasn't anyone attempted to buy us up for pennies on the dollar?

Bill Gates and Paul Allen truly were unknowns when they were creating Microsoft. The same can't be said for Poet. We've had some big names involved both currently and in the past, ie. The former president and vice president of Global Foundries, The former #2 executive and head of procurement at Cisco, The chief procurement director at Arista Networks etc... I could go on but I'm sure everyone gets the point.

I have to wonder if there are any big fish in the industry that Suresh doesn't know? And with all the trade shows and conventions we've attended over the years, is there anyone who hasn't heard our accomplishments?

So I have a follow up question... I will be polite and leave the CFO out of this, which leaves the onus completely on Suresh and his Rolodex. If we have products in the near term pipeline that are going to make a huge splash, then why do we have such a hard time securing enough money to keep the lights on?
