Macnai, not quite sure what you're implying or suggesting. If a reporting issuer has material news to disclose then they are required by regulation to disclose the information in accordance with the regulations. TSX policy 3.3 and I'm sure a similar Nasdaq policy provides information if you really want to dive into that stuff. Link is provided as follows:

The short answer I believe to your question is, there is nothing material to disclose at this time. To your point however, it does not mean that there could be news in the foreseeable future whatever it may be, it's just not fact as of today.
