I think you may have mis understood my post.  Even if Poet has a much better and cheaper solution if industry players wonder if the technology will still be around in 6 months because of financial stress at Poet then why would they dare go in a new direction and possibly get caught with their pants down.

This is why we and the market need some clarity on the companies plans to fund itself into mass production...

cash is king and ours is dwindling down...
