If your understanding of a new partner/JV that failed is correct then this may have been the reason for Charbonneau's sudden resignation as a Director.Always thought there was a mixed message in the wording of the reason for his departure.Firstly it said "for personal reasons". Then it was wishing him luck in "his new endeavours."

Perhaps he had brought the potential deal to the company and it did not go through.

This is all pure conjecture but as always there is ambiguity in the company's statements.
