Message: How good is the Optical Interposer?

I have a very short message for now.

 

Suresh’s team began work to re-invented the interposer architecture to make it compatible with 200G EML lasers 5 months ago. They achieved first pass success. That is rare. Indeed not that it is significant but I had forecast in a post some time ago that I did not think that it was possible for POET to demonstrate a 200G EML in time for OFC.

 

It is hard to say whether the learnings of the past two years were what allowed for first pass success but for the first time in the history of this company, they are demonstrating solutions that are relevant to the biggest players in the industry and the opportunities uncovered are mind-boggling.
