I understand that POET is a development company. 
I understand that revolutionary, even evolutionary tech takes time.

I understand that negative criticism is often times counterproductive.

I also understand that a small budget might be used to do great stuff.

But what I fail to understand or accept is how opaque whomever is in charge of communicating to the shareholders has been. There seems to be some apologists on the board, apparently with information that not all shareholders are privy to. Could these people make an impression on management that they could do better by the shareholders?

...in fact, what has POET done for the shareholders in recent years?
