"There was significant discussion about optoelectronic interposers, with start-ups LightMatter and Celestial AI receiving large funding in this area. However, the end customers do not seem to have a need for this technology, so it is unclear where it is headed.  <= Consider hyperscalers as customers and it becomes clearer.

"OFC was highly noteworthy this year, driven by the surging demand for high-performance computing interconnects." <= This is Celestial AI's forte of maximizing optical I/O via CAI' s Photonic Fabric interposers that are enabled by POET's optical engines (interposers) that are fabricated via POET's Optical Interposer platform.

"Probably the biggest takeaway is the amount of uncertainty and polarised views, including linear pluggable optics, silicon-photonic’s future, and optoelectronic interposers." <= I agree with LPO having a polarized view. Silicon photonics has a future via semiconductorization of photonics via POET's platform. Adopt to adapt. Options: Buy POET's OEs, buy POET's modules or lease the OI platform to make own OEs and modules that are not in conflict with POET's plans.
