I agree that there is great value for some firms in purchasing Poet.
But I think the biggest impediment is getting the Board of a publically traded company to agree pay the required large premium to market. I think that spread is too large at the moment.
I am certain that Suresh and others understand fully what future value their shares and warrants coud obtain. As they are not only managers but also key knowledge holders, any purchase would have to reflect future expected gains. This means buying all Poet shares at high premium, or else highering all staff under lucrative terms that a publicly traded company would have to disclose.
