It's stunning that there was only $8000 considering all the talk the company gives regarding "designing optical engines" for customers.....are they doing it for free?

It would seem to me that anything the company builds for a customer should reflect NRE, and that would include just about everything they have created.....so where is it?

Nothing the company builds is generic, as far as I know, it's all custom. Custom builds should involve NRE unless part of the deal is that the company will build the customers OE free of charge.

They might be trying to entice customers with free builds, which is fine, but where is the information? Why should we be left to guess?
