I'd add that technical analysis may be inaccurate for a pre-revenue stock like POET. When real revenue is clearly proven to be coming, the patterns will reset for POET, trashing the "cups and handles".
POET is kind of special. It is annoying in many ways, but it will have its day, and comparisons to well-worn patterns will not be predictive. After some regularity to the new and steady orders and proven revenue growth to come, the technical patterns will emerge.
