So it stands to reason that management ie. the Company, would want to do everything possible to support and accelerate the SP so that they, the valued employees and shareholders benefit. 

Ya ya, "we can't or don't control the market" but they sure as heck could do a lot more as opposed to keeping their mouth shut and only disclose what management deems material.
