Thanks to TheWaitingGame and ITTR for clarifying this.
"
TheWaitingGame: Rank & file employees have already had their options repriced. This AGM repricing resolution is only for insiders (execs, BoDs, certain others)
Correct, TWG.
"All repriced stock options are subject to Exchange approval. The repriced stock options to insiders are subject to both Exchange and shareholder approval."
We're not voting if our principal engineers in Singapore, Carlan Arbiz and Jun Zhang, are getting their options repriced.
Nor are we voting if our Senior Technician in Pennsylvania, Joseph DePillipo, gets his options repriced.
That's decided and approved by the exchange.
What shareholders do get to decide is if POET insiders, like Tom Mika, get their options repriced.
If POET insiders don't feel incentivised by their current options, and decide to leave... ?
And--hint--perhaps some of these people aren't going to be around POET for too long anyways, whether we approve their new option prices or not."
