Nodrog, thanks for the update and info. Among all the hype and news about CAI and POET, there is usually a key phrase, such as:

"However, the technology is still developing, and the company expects to begin its Photonic Fabric production as soon as possible."

Hopefully "soon" is less than the years that we have already seen slip by
