Message: Optica Online Industry Meeting: Linear Drive Optics

If anyone has had the opportunity to listen to Andy Bechtolsheim Q&A there is some good stuff there. What is going to drive 448G?

Listening to the Q&A (after Andy’s conclusions) on the subject LPO discussion reveals what experts think is next. Suresh is definitely dialed in on his views. At 448G PAM4 TFLN sounds like it will be required. Organic polymers are a way off (sampling in 2026?) and 1 to 2 years later in production? As we know POET has already proven a capability to integrate TFLN modulator. It is exciting to see where the industry experts see the future of optics for AI and hyperscalers. POET has a design for 6.4T tucked away.
