If we're going to use those metaphors, I think I'd prefer to think of POET's relationships as polyamorous. Without choosing any gender preferences, one's imagination is free to dream. POET can have multiple relationships that provide advantages to both parties while never being monopolized by any one customer, JV partner, or supplier.
