I have to agree with this. The price point required to put POET's chips in a watch is too low. POET is concentrating its efforts on the high-value systems in the hyperscalers' data centers and datacomm. Modules cost thousands of dollars, with the chips being the expensive portion. A watch will require chips in the $20 range.

It will come. Once the foundries are teed up and able to crank out the chips at lower unit costs, I am betting on Samsung for wearables. They are collaborating with CAI; they will surely learn all about POET.
